Adrien Gironès is a physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. He began his journey in France, graduating from Paris Sud University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences. After several years working in sports coaching and management in France, he moved to Spain and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Barcelona.
Since then, Adrien has worked in France, Spain, and Canada, and for the past 6 years he has been proud to serve the communities of Greater Victoria. He has a special appreciation for working with families and building long-term, trusting relationships. Adrien provides care in English, French, and Spanish, and is committed to making people from diverse backgrounds feel welcome, heard, and understood.
Adrien has pursued ongoing training to broaden his skills, including certifications in Manual Therapy of the Spine and Biomedical Dry Needling, among others. Before becoming a physiotherapist, he trained and competed in mixed martial arts as well as middle- and long-distance running. A sport-related injury of his own led him to dedicate his passion for movement, performance, and healthy living to a career in physiotherapy.
He has a strong interest in neuroscience and pain science and enjoys helping people understand what is happening in their bodies, why they feel pain, and what they can do to improve. His goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to give people clear guidance, practical tools, and confidence so they can take an active role in their recovery and long-term health.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Adrien polar plunging, hiking, running, swimming, practicing martial arts, cooking, gardening, camping, and playing with his kids. His active lifestyle and love of the outdoors shape his approach to care: movement-focused, realistic, and tailored to everyday life.
Adrien is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where you feel listened to, respected, and empowered to move toward meaningful change—step by step
